Lord, I just rewatched the ending to "Stand By Me". Always found it heartbreaking. Nearly broke down this time. Lightness and humor will always win out over darkness. We're in a very dark time. We'll survive. Thank you to Rob Reiner for making us laugh. You were a great man.
