Here's a screenshot of a little calculator I built for this exact conversation. At 45ยข/kWh and CA average gas price of $5.70/gal (according to the Google), EV energy cost is a 23.6% discount over gas for my Prologue at 3.1 mi/kWh average, including IL winter hwy driving vs a 30MPG ICE car
