When you're taking on someone with that kind of pull and leverage, and you're asking these women to talk about their experiences on the record, you want to make sure that you're not dragging them needlessly into a punishing spotlight for nothing

He used Trump to look way more left of center than he actually ever was. He also trashed and advocated for the recall on the actual progressive local DA because she was looking into old cases where he was an ADA doing some of the least progressive stuff possible.

The enablement that helped ensure he got away with it for so long is making me just as furious. There would've been low level staff who lacked the power to do much apart from tell those above them, but those higher up folks would have had the power to do something about it.
