Blegh, it may be a bit more time consuming but asking your peeps to model for certain things poses could be a nice group activity.
I’ve also been just looking over fashion magazines cuz sometimes you find interesting poses from the models.

What drives me crazy is that I struggle to identify AI slop up until the very second I am viewing things through the lens of "how the hell do these things fit together" because of just how fucking foundationally bad it is at what it claims to do.

I thought I didn’t understand arm anatomy until I realized an Ai thing crept into my references and the women’s elbow was in fact attached backward. Imagine the point of your elbow but it’s where the bend happens if you have regular human anatomy.

It does have a demo if you wanna try it out. You can try the -ai hold hand images in google but those don't have the best results if looking for something specific

Shoutout to Unsplash! Remains my go-to stock image/reference image site. Have yet to see any GenAI and I really like the variation you can find in the models when looking for people poses :>

I was trying to earn money on the side taking stock photos, got a little traction but a bunch were rejected for having just a little too much chromatic aberration. Apparently hallucinated six fingers is totally fine and cool though.

If it helps, putting "before:2022" in Google image takes out most of the slop. But yeah, it's bad out here.

I always try to go direct to sources like @adorkastock.com , @fugitiverabbit.com 's fatphotoref, etc, and skip the general internet search full of slop traps.

I'm so glad I saved some of my favorite reference pictures to my computer. I'm also at the point where I reference magazine scans on archive.org rather than just search the web generally.
