You voice a thought that's been lurking in the back of my mind: What if all this AI writer panic is a way to push more writers to use LLMs? Of course, the simplest explanation is that it's all ragebait.

I just did an interview in which I was asked if I would use AI, and I think I used the words "never, ever" 157 times in a row. I'm not even sure if this is an overestimation or not. 😂

Interesting point.

I see desperation in corps with LLMs central to their products. Like Google sticking an AI answer top of every search. The LLM approach to AI is a dead end, IMO. Eventually we'll see a long line of abandoned data centers, but they're going to get what they can while they can.
