Even if only a few end up sprouting, planting seeds and watching a sprout break thru some dirt and become big enough to need a new planter/get transplanted into the ground, is SO NICE.
I have a ~3 y/o pepper plant, named Happy bc it makes me smile. We grew it from seeds from a grocery store pepper!
