Really well written. I’d go a step further and say that attacks against Piker come almost exclusively from dem pols whose careers rely on corporate/wealthy donors, and see his brand of leftist economic populism as an existential threat. The root core of the bad faith attacks is pure corruption.

Obviously you do not watch Hasan very often. I do not know why his celebrity nullifies the value of his commentary, which is the crux of your ill-informed statement. Had the #democrats listened to him Kamala would have won. His takes are spot on most of the time.

Idk if it's an attack, but I'm skeptical of anyone under 30 being looked to as An Authority when they talk off the cuff all day every day for a living. The anti-semite label isn't fair, but there's a lot of cringe-y clips of him talking about women/rape in ways that make me really uncomfortable.
