No people who did this to your ancestors can show you the way to eternal life … Just saying.

The his father s what I try to show people. Anyone that promotes racism, slavery or hate in anyway can’t be supporting som heavenly purpose. By the way the episode in Venezuela is more about racism and corporate greed than it is about drugs or immigration. Trump doesn’t want Venezuela selling oil .

That Austrian bloke did the same. Phoney ancestral roots, eugenics & removing the untermensch from society.
It didn't end well.

The problem isn’t just our ancestors, Mark. It’s their evil offspring in the following generations like Trump who thinks history should portray slavery less “negatively” and has instructed the nation’s museums not to dwell on or portray the more “unpleasant”aspects of the era.

He means there are "pleasant aspects" of that era?

All American school kids should be required a field trip to a black history installation, with artifacts and guided tour.
With a tactile experience, more Americans would in agreement about the black slave atrocity and the ongoing racism it spawned.

I sincerely apologize for all the horrible things my incredibly shitty ancestors did to your ancestors. In my youth (long ago in the 80s), I marched with the Rainbow Coalition against Neo-Nazis and the Klan. I thought we were making progress. I'm sorry so many white people still don't get it.

I've never understood how any peoples could ever adopt the religion of their oppressors, whether it's blacks, natives, anyone colonized, or women for that matter. Religion is a tool of oppression. Period.

The history of European Americans claiming freedom shrouded in lies.
If you look at every generation of migrants coming to this land.
You will find horrific stories of violence.

My wife and I got out on the street this fall and sent the message.

Note: a White suburban woman in a Lexus stopped her car to chastise me for the word "Fuck."

Unfortunately, we carry their pain in our DNA & it manifests in our everyday lives in different ways - scarcity mindset, compulsive disorders, addictions, anger & abandonment issues & so on. Sometimes it skips generations, but its still there.

I believe this global reset is an opportunity for us 🤫😏

'The white man has taught us to shout and sing and pray until we die, to wait until death, for some dreamy heaven-in-the-hereafter when we're dead, while this white man has his milk and honey in the streets paved with golden dollars right here on this Earth'.

Could not agree more Mark!
I am with Abe Lincoln. He may not have been perfect, but he knew what was on the line, and he dedicated his life to doing what's right 160 years ago... which is more than most politicians in any era can say. #RESIST #StandForTruth

It was barbaric and inhumane. Especially in the south of the US. I've read recently that the women slave owners were worse than the men. Shameful.

This is an image of Indigenous Australians chained on Wadjemup (Rottnest Island), Western Australia i.e. www.abc.net.au/news/2016-10-25/rottnest-island-black-prison-to-white-playground/7962940 I recommend Alan Lowery and John Pilger's 'Utopia' (2013) if you want more context i.e. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiaOMizO2Y4&t=105s It's a sad indictment of colonisation.

Have you read what Columbus & crew did to little Taino girls & boys & all the people there, plus those who arrived after Columbus did? Crimes so hellish that they were indescribable when Bartolomé de Las Casas, A Brief Account of the Destruction of the Indies, wrote to the royals

True. As a woman I feel no woman could have done this. Am I wrong … just saying. Slavery has existed for many thousands of years. I wouldn’t do this to an animal. What is it in the souls of men?

I am so humbled by the song & story of Amazing Grace. John Newton was involved in slave trade business & he saw the light. A newer version of the song was used in the movie about Wilberforce, also very humbling. Wilberforce & Lincoln died within days of reaching objective.

The Southern Baptist Convention was founded in 1845 specifically to defend WHITE MEN’s “right” to own blacks as slaves, it’s one of the many reasons I avoid mentioning that I think Jesus was right to say We should love our neighbors & follow The Golden Rule, which most religions accept more or less.

It would be great if the SBC followed the Golden Rule, however, with people like Willy Rice running for president of the SBC I'm doubtful. He supported a bill in Tennessee which would have allowed women who got abortions to be charged with the death penalty. He also doesn't like women pastors.

In Seoul, 1981-1984, whenever the wives of many Korean senior officers or anyone called me, “a real gentleman, scholar, & warrior,” or 양반, I respectfully told them in Korean none of my ancestors were of the “nobility” & I’m proud of my oppressed peasant ancestors, who evidently never owned slaves!

The atrocities of the past & present have metaphorically haunted me since age 3 in 1965 when my dad & uncle accidentally told me in horrific details about their experiences in WW2, liberating 3 Nazi Death Camps & being in Nagasaki a few days after it was NUKED!

Later they verified it many times!

I reckon Clint Eastwood was correct to note that IGNORANCE & RACISM are closely linked!

When I was 16 in1979, my WORLD HISTORY Teacher brought in a guest speaker a Jewish Survivor of Auschwitz, who asked us to raise our hand if we’d ever heard of The Holocaust. I raised my hand, yet nobody else did

Embraced? Indoctrinated by it seems more appropriate. The first book slaves were allowed to read was the Bible.
