If they're going to use it commercially and expect proper support, the decent thing from them would be to reach out and also act as a sponsor.

Legally they can't since they'd need Valve to approve a license for distribution of the Steam client, among numerous other things included in Bazzite.

That's why we support hardware and not the other way around.
