The old system seems to be run on the illusion of choice.Donors pick who we can choose. It is just blatantly obvious now whereas before citizens united it was more covert.

The main reason why Dems won so much isn't the shutdown, or Trump himself, it's that the whole country is excited about Mamdani. His popularity is helping all Dems, even the ones who shit on him unfortunately

Regulating capitalism, raising taxes on the ultra wealthy, redistribution of wealth, increasing social programs and quality of life. Focusing on people over profits and governing for the people not corporations.

Should be in the hands of the people, however democratic socialists like Mamdani are taking away that ability of small business grocers in NYC by forcing the stores to be government run. He’s punishing small businesses not corporations

Certain businesses shouldn't be privatized such as grocery stores. Equitable access to food should be a #1 priority of our government and society. Not everything needs or should be competitive. Some services and businesses exist for survival and to help us thrive as a species.
