That’s stunning. I have a photo of a similar o e from Skipwith, East Riding, but can’t find it. Do have this one, however; it’s a Saxon one from Stillingfleet near Selby…the figures are support to be Adam and Eve.

Not sure; I’m not even sure if it’s a person 🤔 It’s so fragile that only part of the ornamentation survives; that’s why it’s now inside the church. I love the little iron figures and the longship….wonder if it’s Viking or Anglian…The surviving Anglian strap work across the middle is impressive too
