I disagree here.
Tactical voting calls have proven to lead to lower voter outcomes with the hardliner party gaining more traction as they don't disperge nor stay home, and as other votes get more dispersed than concentrated it works complete the opposite way

As an American, the mistake the left makes constantly is seeking perfect candidates that fit their wants and needs, which don’t exist.

Treating every vote like it’s some precious treasure is how the left got into this mess.

The confusion that tactical voting brings, coupled with our insistence on FPTP elections instead of some form of proportional representation ensures that people are continually disappointed. You shouldn't have to vote for a candidate who you fundamentally disagree with.
