I think it's a bit more complicated than that, personally. Mainly, I don't know any analyst who has said they know where that "money coming in" is from, besides rounds of VC fundraising. there's no profit being made.

My office is giving a ton of money to Anthropic every month and they’re doing it because it’s completely changed how our software engineering department works

That's excellent, but that's only a fraction of what we've been told AI is supposed to do. Companies can give AI as much money as they want, it still won't make them profitable when they're spending nearly $1 trillion to build data centers that will never be finished.

And that money is still significantly less by all accounts than it's actually costing Anthropic to provide that (also fuck that whole endeavor obviously, still a massive plagiarism machine)

Yeah, was gonna say—pivoting to coding/business because they're scared of Anthropic? That seems true. Because it's actually profitable? No signs of that and every sign it still massively massively isn't.
