Does your student want linguists to self-exclude or identify ourselves? I don’t think it affected my ratings but it did affect how I wrote the free response answers 😅

No it’s ok, it doesn’t seem to make much difference to acceptability and the attitude questions are to help with this too. Linguists self-identify just by being linguists in the free-response boxes anyway 🤣
