You want voter ID? Fine. The federal government already has your birth certificate, Social Security number, and tax records. Issue every eligible citizen a free national voter ID card. Put the burden on the government. Not the voter. This is not about voter eligibility. This is about who votes.

Argentina, Chile, Hungary, Israel, the Netherlands are examples of countries where registration is automatic, based on government records such as census counts.

Clearly, this isn’t a guarantee elections will be fair, but it’s a place to start… if Rs don’t manage to bastardize the US Census first.

In Europe, some countries are doing proof of concepts for voting by mobile, in order to increase # of the population on important issues.

Just mentioning.

That would be a disaster for the GOP if it was introduced in the US.
