The fuel protests in Ireland are a Trojan Horse that aim to bring fascism to Ireland. We are witnessing the birth of an Irish version MAGA. The more you look, the more obvious it is that many of the key spokesmen (and they are all men) are dangerous anti-immigrant far right agitators.Wake up.

I hope you all nip it in the bud. Iโ€™m trying so hard to move my family there and it would be terrible to just jump into more of the same

They seem to think that the immigrant family down the road are responsible for bombing Iranian schoolgirls to hide their sex crimes.

I don't see any of them protesting at the Trumpstein golf course.

Go raibh agat for bringing this up.

The Trump regime is actively supporting far right movements in Europe.
European regime changes are part of the US National Security Strategy from December 2025.

but in Ireland not only they don't have the students, the colleges on their side... they don't even try to reach them out
they just hate them

Already here, the aim is to strengthen the resolve of its flag carriers. Everything has to be the fault of immigrants. Fuel is high in price not because Trump went to war for Israel but because we are spending too much on IPAS! The one thing they need is a charismatic leader and then we're cooked.

As a now Irish resident ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ who watched it happen exactly like this there, itโ€™s crucial to learn the international fascist playbook & broadcast it loudly.

BEST defense is to be predictive of their performative chaos, not just reactive to it!

Tons of international money & leverage are behind it.

Paid for by global oil interests, as in the U.S.? And Canada? They only show up during Dem/Progressive administrations, thatโ€™s how you know.

The fuel protestors are not even pretending to hide it. ๐Ÿ‘‡
It's far-right thugs trying to cause chaos by hijacking an issue, exploiting public anger and undermining democracy so they can say that we need a strongman leader to stop the chaos they caused.

Shutdown Twitter and youโ€™ll start seeing a reverse in this trend. SM platforms are contributing to this global spread

Absolutely!
Also follow the money & act accordingly to contain it.

This essay by @timothysnyder.bsky.social about Hungary is a good explainer of how the international fascist movement operates. #speirgorm

Iโ€™m glad an Irish person with a platform is saying this.

Iโ€™m American & Irish who just landed here permanently in Jan.
watching the same MAGA/Fash-ish playbook unfolding here & know itโ€™s not my place but itโ€™s like a horror movie where I know the ending & perhaps the rest of the audience doesnโ€™t.

I was shocked with the support they got. Farmers are certainly not poor. Those tractors would cost between โ‚ฌ80 000 and โ‚ฌ120 000. Its like a crowd of men with a 100 ferraris demanded money and not cared if your loved one gets to hospital on time.

Primarily rising fuel prices, rising cost of living, alienation from government - all being exploited by far right forces. This is a good analysis: forlouth.medium.com/the-blockade-is-the-message-20eb93493849

The most ridiculous aspect of the 'leaders' of the protest is that, if they lived in the US, they would vote for Trump, the cause, along with Netanyahu, of the increase in the price of fuel!

When you hear the protestors talking, they sound exactly like MAGA, except with Irish accents. The facts are not that important but the sense of rebellion, anti government, fake patriotism, anti vaccine and anti immigration is real.
