Yes. Block lists are convenient, from trusted sources. Some newer folks blindly subscribe to Starter Packs and Block List. Not best practice. Just putting out there again for our less experienced friends on the platform.

Question: I blindly used block lists when I first came over from The Bird. Is there a way to go back and review the names?

I don't know if it works because I am not subscribed to any. You might try Settings->Moderation Lists and opening a block list. If that does not work, the only other way I know is to unsubscribe, find the list again. It can be reviewed there. Keep in mind, they are dynamic, not static lists.

Exactly. I found Aaron Rupar on a Maga block list. So I unblocked all lists and bock only individuals. Magats will add progressive and liberal posters to the lists so that blindly subscribing to them will block important voices.

God forbid you miss out on Rupar’s brave resistance live skeeting of another Trump rally

I had a feeling some shifty fucks might do that.

Exactly. Plus you have no direct control (you cannot individually unblock someone on a subscribed list). Neat idea, but current execution allows for too many shenanigans. I just like that word.

Better to maintain individual control of blocks for now.

This is the way.

Yeah I don't do those block lists anymore. I found one that claimed to be a Maga block list and it was all socialists and members of the LGBTQ community on it. Obviously the person who made it has a beef. So I only do individual blocks now.
