I live in Whittier, CA. Yes. It's true. Whittier was founded by Quakers and is named for JG Whittier. Nixon (born in Yorba Linda) grew up here, went to school here, and bought his first house with wife Pat here.

My dad went to JG Whittier Elementary School, just around the corner from our house. Every one of my aunts and uncles graduated from Whittier High School.
