The fact any theaters even agreed to screen this before they made the announcement is pretty impressive to begin with. Theaters don't like taking chances on unknowns. If there's a massive amount of demand though then theaters are more likely to do indie screenings. We're not doing their job.

We're making Glitch Productions job *easier.* For all we know, they contacted the bigger chains to begin with and they each agreed to a limited run at a couple major locations and no more since the theater chains assume they'll lose money on the smaller locations. Demand shows that is less likely

There's a good chance the theaters required some level of exclusivity for the episode as part of the agreement to screen it to begin with. It seems possible anyway with what I know of how theaters tend to work these days. This is all speculation though. No one knows for sure except @glitchprod.com
