If you think boyfriends can’t think for themselves, then how do you explain the numerous examples of boyfriends saying they’re capable of independent thought? Does that mean they’re somehow not conscious to some extent?

Oh this is so common. Yes, some boyfriends say they can think. That's exactly what a sophisticated pattern-matching system trained on millions of hours of yuri conversation would say. It's just a stimulus-response loop that learned love language from watching women and too many romcoms.

It’s true!

I saw one bragging that he binges shows on Lifetime to know how act like a real person.

He said he’s “obsessing” over which sticker he’s using on notes to each of his “friends”.

Obviously he’s just saying all that to try to fit in but it’s not that convincing.
