Imo, they don't really care about women & what they want.

Part of toxic masculinity is being pathetically desperate for MALE approval.

Women prefer dad bods, but toxic men 'gym-max' for admiration ftom other gym rats.

Not to be that person, but I will not date a dude with a "dad bod." He needs to exercise a little. Then again, I'm the kind of woman who won't cut her hair.
