I basically don't fill out surveys anymore unless I actually did get exceptional service because neither the company nor the workers have any interest in my honest opinion and I refuse to participate in a time-wasting mockery of a feedback process.

I support service workers full stop. I know basically none of them are given working conditions that allow high quality work. If the company wants better service it can pay better, provide better conditions etc. I never blame the worker

I never blame the worker, always the companies for setting the "anything less than perfect is failing" standard in all of our minds rather than a "meeting basic expectations for doing your job is 'average' service" standard that leaves room to acknowledge what truly is going above and beyond.

If I ran for Congress, my platform would be "execute or imprison executives who oversee bad customer service." Even repugs would vote for me.
My wife waited two hours and 16 minutes to talk to someone at Social Security. She asked a question and they hung up.
