I have seen a few complaints about censorship but compared to X or Facebook I applaud your management of such a large growing platform.
I know that this eventually needs to make money.
I hope you can do that without ruining the vibe here.
I would prefer a low monthly fee as opposed to ads.

Is it all ads you despise? Or the amount? Or only ones by big biz vs local or small biz?

I don’t think bsky will do ads — they e said as much — but there are other parts of the Atmosphere system that allow ads. I can run ads on the feed so own, for example. So I’m asking out of curiosity and as

$12 per year would be very reasonable, no ads, 40 million a month if everyone buys in

Not sure about their expenses but even $25 a year would still be reasonable and that would be 80 million a month income.
Surely enough revenue and they will contribute to grow membership. It could help the initial investors get a return on the money already invested.

Yea I'm not paying a subscription for a social media site. The day they start looking for money from its users is the day I deactivate my account

So is it easy to find out when one joined BS. Know what number user one was? how soon after blue sky did I join?
