I didn't see it that way, especially he was seen as a massive threat to capital as was evident from the relentless vitriol he was subjected to.

I supported Corbyn his policies were popular but he did not fight back strongly enough to counter the "relentless vitriol", he was naive to think his detractors would play fair. I still admire his integrity and honesty but he is not the leader we need now.

More like propaganda against him. His manifesto advocated a mixed economy, with the rich paying the odd quid more in tax. Hence the propaganda.

No he didn’t, he was always a reformist rather than a revolutionary socialist. But that doesn’t mean he wasn’t left wing. Some of the establishment / right wing consider Starmer a ‘communist’.
