Funny how they believe that POTUS has all of these powers. But once a Democrat takes office, the same people declare that the President can’t so much as even take a shit without getting congressional approval first.

A president, in realpolitik, practical terms, has as much power as he wants if not checked by the other branches. Trump, for example, has unlimited power, since everything is an official act and he has immunity.
Obama had the power to eat good mustard.
