I already cancelled a long time ago. It shocks me there’s people who care about nitro at tall when for the same price you can get 2ish terabytes of cloud storage to share your files with anyone. The convenience fee is just so not worth it

The subs are less than 10% of Discord's projected revenue. The real earnings come from selling training data to make AI. And this data becomes much more valuable if they know with 99% certainty which person is piloting each Discord account. That's the real reason for verification.

Nobody should reactivate their subscriptions. You simply don't need Discord Nitro, or most of these subscription services.

I cancelled mine recently after having nitro for years and realizing how shit they intentionally make using discord without paying for nitro makes me never want to resubscribe even if they fully reverse course on the age verification stuff lol. It's so scummy.
