The reason comments like Jerry’s are so galling is that they make no attempt to understand or take into account the massive barriers to women proving they’ve been assaulted or the backlash that they get for coming forward against literally any man, much less a famous one.

this is 100% true in most circumstances

what response would you have to a black man who said he was being falsely accused by a white woman?

would the default be "barriers" or maybe the barries are less in that circumstance?

i find it hard to believe all women given US history in that regard
