Yes! All four of my grandparents were immigrants to Western Pennsylvania from four different countries. One grandfather was a coal miner after he fought in WWI. The younger one got a job as a teenager to build a steel mill. He ended up working there the rest of his life & retired as an executive.

And the Latinos I encounter are very hard workers. Trying and succeeding to make a better life for their children. Similar to what used to be the US dream. Now young Anglos say they don't expect to be as well off as their parents. 🫤
