Countries do not have a right to exist. Peoples have a right to exist.

I guess I think that *people* have a right to their country's borders and status as a state being maintained. But yes, I agree, survival of cultural identity is paramount. But I cannot feel that, even if Ukraine could have been absorbed by Russia without bloodshed, that this is wrong (for example).

Also, when I say 'Israel', I don't mean 'any definition of what that territory might be defined as' by any person with an opinion. I definitely do not mean a Zionist definition of a 'greater Israel'.
