The US should not be allowed to host the World Cup while it is bombing other countries. It shows how corrupt FIFA is that this hasn't been an automatic dealbreaker.

I get the sentiment but that is naive. They aren’t going to find a new host at this stage are they even if they wanted to.

Although in this case they already have 2 other hosts, so it would presumably be less logistically daunting than it otherwise might be. The US games just get moved to Canada and Mexico.
