oh man. it´s been about n hour. It´s almost tender now and that "this is meat!" texture is welcome actually. Lean meat too tho...not sure if i made up for that with the oil. Lean pork(gulash) with a bunch of carrots, n onion, bellpepper, tomato mush, spices.

yup. tender. Worth the wait and occasional stirring, throwing in some water. just more meat flavor than minced meat somehow. And you got the distinct flavor because its thick pieces rather than basically almost a paste. Same reason i really like giant-pasta - wallthickness
