and attacking the COVID response, which they are getting very close to needing to follow with telling people to work from home, support with finances etc.

They are praying a miracle will pull them out of it.

I think they’re done with financial support, giving themselves a big pat on the back for the $50 per week for Working for Families recipients. If you’re not wealthy and sorted you’ll be expected to harden up and sell a kidney or something
