which is the point, the GOP knows how unpopular they and their policies are so they have to suppress as many voters as they can.

I might actually take a further step here beyond knowing they're unpopular. They've never really cared about being unpopular. What they do care about, though, is that they know that if they lose, a fair majority of them are *going to prison*.

i doubt it, they lie cheat and steal to ensure they maintain power. and even if they lose the majority there are enough of them in other positions of power to prevent the majority from ever being held accountable.

plus the DNC isn't exactly "fighting" them these days.
