Sitting here with food for 30 filling kitchen, ice storm, all on street parking banned and ppl cancelling as roads are an ice rink.

Guess we'll live on leftovers until February.

My sympathies. If it isn't the weather, it's a virus: this is the third year in a row my MIL's family holiday party has had to be cancelled due to someone being ill (too many immunocompromised folks). I wish we could just hold all gatherings in early summer. :/

We had to cancel altogether and only had three people from next door who barely made it with the ice on the sidewalk but so lovely to see them.
The trees are all crystalline and stunning.
