Use the term “touch grass” to indicate that someone needs to seek out reality, use the term “touch moss” to indicate that they need to seek out ancient forest magic beyond their mortal comprehension.

I am not sure that anyone is getting the message here. So many today do not live in reality. Do you really have all the answers, or maybe someone wiser makes you think? Perhaps someone trustworthy might lead you to a better future?

Iykyk. This person speaks my language. When I am in need I anchor myself to the bare ground. Let your bare torso connect w Mother Earth and feel the charge. Escape man’s folly.
My healing center is on the hot red rocks of the sw. People are so different. Some will understand and know the sensation.

I think if it makes you happy and isn’t harming anyone that’s awesome.

Conversely if someone is an “aesthetics slut,” because they’re a 20 year practicing Zen Buddhist in the Vietnamese tradition…. Hypothetically of course. Then that’s ok to.

Everyone wants different stuff. 🥰

I respect the moss too much to touch it. The moss is old and has seen the myriad follies of boundary-stomping humans like me. It has seen those who enter the forest but do not leave. It feels the bones of fools under sprawling roots.

I will not touch the moss out of respect for the Old Ones.

Weaver here, can highly recommend the soft wisdom in touching cloth, and the quiet strength in creating some, and then sewing with it. 🪢

The key seems to be touching... but the "moss" option is definitely more appealing.
