What's really striking about watching this is that it's such a stark contrast to what we've all been living under for the past year.

These are people - the astronauts and NASA scientists - who are incredibly smart, competent, dedicated, and decent. America was actually like this, once.

It's like stepping back in time to when things were normal - but it was, in fact, the trajectory we were on before the insanity began.
