If their Red Line is so far back it doesn't cover basic human rights, they do not in fact have a red line.

It's not even a worthwhile sacrifice to make.

Trans people make up a small % of the population. But when you start to factor in their family, allies, friends, etc. That small % suddenly makes up a significant portion of any voter base.

Meanwhile, it costs nothing to include them in consideration.

Bold of you to assume that trans people's friends, families and "allies" won't blithely vote for politicians and parties that will cause us harm. In my experience, few of them have that level of awareness or take the threats against us seriously.
