I have some family who doesn’t get why I hate AI so much. Uh, because they steal our work for one?

GenAI is built on nothing BUT stolen stuff. Nothing about it is legal. Movies, songs, images, books, ideas. All stolen.

Kind of like how, as a teacher, I saw others 'copy' books without permission, claiming it was 'okay'. I never did that, and even before I was an author would speak out against it. GenAI is even worse, as it's nothing but stolen work.
