I gotcha. And honestly. Maybe I'm overreacting. Like I said. They have their flaws. And everyone's welcome to their opinion. There was definitely some fun colorful cinematography in the sequels though. But this is clearly a bad example

Seems well argued that the ending was a gloomy dose of nostalgia set in the same location that was meant to be a point of departure
