Loved the movies sure but then I started getting lost with the multiple shows and I'd just been yearning for a reboot 🤜🤛

Honestly, with the other shows - just watch Standalone Complex and Standalone Complex 2nd Gig, and leave it there. There are certainly interesting things in the rest of the franchise, but outside of the Oshii films, SAC is the definitive GitS.

Alright fair. I wanted to go back and watch some but it's been so long I feel like that ship sailed

So I'm just ready to start fresh with the new show. Fresh and unbiased I feel

I actually have the classic film on Blu-ray, along with both seasons of Stand Alone Complex, though for added fun, I also got a box set of the original manga with it's two follow-ups, and because I'm insane, the 2017 live-action adaptation as well and MY THOUGHTS ON IT ARE...it's okay
