Kind of reminds me of the "most lonely phone booth in the world" located in the Mojave National Preserve in California... just way snowier lol

The lack of a subject and the footprints bring me just to the edge of dread in this one. Is that blood with the footprints there too?

Good lord this hit me. Not from experience; you just managed to capture the stark loneliness so well. Sure, there are obvious signs of civilization - the fields, the wires, the tower - but the lighting and the landscape just feels so isolated. Very nice.

Oh my god it’s a painting. The emotion this placed in me was freaking visceral. Love this piece.

Before I opened the thumbnail I'd not even realised it's a painting. Awesome job.

It's reminding me of Edward Hopper's style. The loneliness of it all.

! The color grading on this is excellent. I don't know if that's the right term for static artwork, but it's really evocative in a way that feels both comforting, old-fashioned, and very slightly unsettling.

I work on radio towers in the upper Midwest, perfectly captures that lonely and sometimes melancholic feeling in the winter

I thought this was a repost of a Simon Stalenhag piece, and I want you to know I mean that in the highest complementary way. Gorgeous work, love the extra canvas texturing.
