And as always, if you just absolutely NEED a beloved British childrens' fantasy series about witches and wizards to survive, a further reminder that Sir Terry Pratchett appears zero times in the Epstein Files and Granny Weatherwax would take none of Mrs. Rowling's transphobic pedophilic shit.

And Tiffany Aching > Harry Potter any day. Mustrum Ridcully would beat Dumbledore's ass.

*Rincewind* is a better wizard than most the HP crew.

And then there's Vimes. And Lu Tze. And Vetinari. And Von Lipwig.

AND HIM.

Dumbledore would last approximately 0.034 seconds in the Unseen University before getting assassinated for his position.

I remember when the TERFs and GCs tried to claim that Terry Pratchett would have been on their side since Granny Weatherwax "knew what a woman was".

This was his daughter's response...

Well he only did one or two kids books and discworld is not aimed at children obviously. And since she did rip him off it would be better to read the source, which at least is literate and any good.

Discworld is more young adult but yeah I'm 30 and still absolutely enjoy reading them. I'm working my way through all 41 currently.

Five Tiffany Aching, four Bromeliad, three Johnny Maxwell and six others explicitly aimed at younger readers, not to mention the nine marketed for young adults.

Even if you only count Pratchett's kids' books there are about twice as many as there are HP!

There are five Tiffany Aching books, plus The Bromeliad "Nomes" trilogy, not to mention several short stories, see "A Slip of the Keyboard" etc.
He also pointed out that there's no reason to teach kids to be children, since they're already pretty good at doing that 😁

Sure would be entertaining if Granny made Rowling think she was a toad for quite some time 🤔

It would be an upgrade from a wicked old crone in a moldy castle.

If you really need magical children at a boarding school hidden away in a forest castle that nonmagical folk think is a ruin, and kinda silly names, and confusing magical events and a strict potions teacher who seems to terrorise the protagonist and a rival student with an influential family...

What I'm saying is, Harry Potter is genderswapped The Worst Witch so it could be sold to boys.
