How can someone grow on this site? I like how things are going, but I find it strange that I don't do anything different from other sites. I post art and I like to respond to all your comments when I have something to add.
Or maybe only a few people get attention? idk

It is alot harder. Their isn't automation shoveling content into peoples faces. Also alot less bots.
Retweets, following others, join in posted threads seems to help alot.

Have you followed the ‘For you’ feed? It may help since a lot of people have been praising it.

From how I understand it this site doesn't really have much in terms of an algorithm. So you can only grow by interacting a lot, not just under your art but with other people's posts. I don't really know though, I'm bad at that myself (As my follower number can attest).

But if I had to guess I imagine that Bsky growth is mostly tied to Reposts over being Recommended,
I think that because the Discovery tab is more "random" most people probably just sit on the following tab
And don't see much of new accounts...

Alt text can help. What you put in the description is indexed by the search function. I always include in the character name, series, etc so when someone is searching those topics the post will show up.
