OK, that's good point, I have to agree. But at least "blocked" posts should not break threads. The developers could leave current gray box with "blocked" label, but should display the fillowing posts in the thread.
Once again, current implementation is awful!

They do this because it reduces pile ons and toxicity fwiw

I’ve rarely found it beneficial to actually see the blocked content (there are ways to do it)
