As a rabbi, I think you understand that us Jews are at particular risk of increased antisemitism in the wake of the U.S. going to war with Israel against a Muslim country. Ossoff put his neck out there to lead, a good sign for liberal Jews. (Also, we’re not just a ‘religion,’ odd thing to say.)

I think Sen Ossoff’s statement was fantastic & clear. He is an American senator. It is one of the oldest forms of antisemitism to assume that Jews have “double loyalty” -

Don’t some engage in that double loyalty? Human nature being what it is! Of course wide brush generalizations can always be made but sentient people can acknowledge both can be true.

I absolutely agree, but unfortunately we live in times and amongst people that assume that’s the case from the get-go.
