This is Trump’s go to on absolutely everything is what he wants to believe in that moment, like there was no past, no recused. There is no history, no context no nothing but utter shamelessness about hypocrisy or lying.

I am unconvinced that he now feels anything for the people who endured such unimaginable trauma. He instead feels anger and betrayal because a few of his loudest supporters have called him out on ONE thing (they’re likely OK with his other BS). It still has nothing to do with anyone but Trump.
