"That's AI."

As an 8th grade teacher, this is a new insult the kids have been using this year, even on things unrelated to writing.

Someone does something stupid, or ridiculous, or cruel: "Ugh, you're AI."

I’ve heard my 4th and 5th grade students use it. Most often it’s when their friends say something sus.

I sponsor a photography club, and the freshmen girl with the most consistently good images gets dragged at every meeting by her friends(?) yelling “that’s AI!”

So there’s that peril as well..
