A minor puzzle has been solved for me - I always absently wondered what "The Katy" was in the song "She caught the katy"

Katy was the shortened name of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) Railroad.

She caught a train!

Yeah, there's an obvious and inevitable reason this admittedly cool form of entertainment didn't last

lol was that outcome really that unexpected. I thought the two trains in the video would blow up more.
