The one thing the pearl clutchers can do to encourage healthy attitudes about intimate relationships among The Youths is to just talk to them about it. Of course, they aren’t willing to do that because it makes ‘em uncomfy, so they want to ban all mention of it & assume the kids’ll figure it out.
