Most parents don't want their children to have identity crisis ever especially when they aren't even legal adults and don't have the life experience or maturity to safely navigate it and discover their true selves. They especially don't want random strangers talking about sex and sexuality to them

So in short there's nothing wrong with being LGBT, it's the rare occasion when someone tries to involve children that is the issue.

Simply Having different types of people on TV shows or out in the world has no effect on children anymore than other cultures being out in the world. Are you arguing that other cultures shouldn't be visible to children either?

When I was a kid the public service announcement made it sound like people with drugs would chase you down the halls trying to shove them down your throat to get you hooked on them. It was all nonsense of course. And I don't know you or situation but what you're saying reminds me a lot of that.
